This might be silly, but humor me /adv/. Some background info, I'm an 18 y/o male and I've just started masturbating. Before whenever I tried to go at it I never got myself worked up enough to actually finish the job. I still tried every now and again to see if I would get different results, but here's the kicker. A few days ago I made another attempt, but instead of focusing on the porn on screen, I started thinking of an old ex that I haven't gotten over 100% just yet. Finally I finished on my own. Since then I've been doing so once a day, but I'm getting the feeling that choking it to an ex isn't the best thing for me.
Was wondering if any wiser anons could give me some insight here? Is it really a bad thing to masturbate to an ex? Should I drop this method and search for another or stop worrying so much and just do what my dick wants for a little?

Your experience sounds like my first fap at 14, minus the ever having a gf part. It really felt good in the beginning, but then frequency of masturbation increased until it was out of control and I literally anded up fappng my life away.
