Ask them questions. What is the purpose of the skill assessment? What is it that you do, etc.
I would ask questions and draw a conclusion from there.

your resume doesn't typically contain enough PII to be damaging if it gets out, and it isn't easily accessible enough to really damage you even if it did. It's nbd to send your resume to online postings. What you shouldn't expect is a job.
