So far my plan is:
- To be as attractive as possible
- To be as interesting as possible in conversation
But I don't know what else you can do other than those two things

Do you have any guy in particular in mind? For girls, the easiest way to get a guy is simply to talk to him without him talking to you first. Maybe laugh at a few of his jokes and he'll know you're interested.

not being fat (use BMI if in doubt :-)
having job (girl who can take care of herself is always a plus)
having some interests you can talk about
knowing what you want from your life and partner
being nice person in general increase chances of getting nice (personality wise) bf
And of course you have to increase the odds of meeting guys like:
putting yourself in the online dating madness
going to public events
asking everybody (family, friends, coworkers) if they don't know somebody to hook you up with
Just make sure you don't give up and don't fall into generalization meme. Even if you meet 10 guys and 9 of them just wants to fuck you, give you aids and disappear and the 10th guy is mentally retarded. Just laugh a lot, make it really obvious you like being around him, and more than other boys. Make conversation with him wherever you can, give him the attention, and make that preference clear. Men don't pick up clues too well.
