Get a smaller watch. A large one will just look dumb. Shit from Swatch is alright. You might also want to look at women's watches. Nobody's gonna know it's a woman's watch unless you get something really stupid.
It'll only make your wrist look small if you have a srap/bracelet that's too big and flops all over the place.
Get whatever watch you want and then stick an adjustable strap on it if it doesn't already have one.
Get the biggest watch you can, mount it on those leather straps that are like 3"+ wide

Go to a watch store. Try on watches. Different sizes and shapes look different on different wrists.
I have pretty feminine hands (oddly enough I've gotten compliments on them from multiple people on them.. my girlfriend always says she's jealous of them <.<).
