should I just ignore the criticisms towards comm majors and finish what I started or did I fuck up? Should I even do an internship to increase my chances of finding work after graduation?

search for an internship in a federal position. unlike art/acting degrees yours is actually useful and necessary.

Anon, everyone gets shit on by someone. For example, I spent some time on /biz/ and many people there were shitting on the supposed "almighty" STEM majors, calling them "meme degrees". Ignore it, especially since you only have a year left.
