I got the number of a girl at a burger joint today. I asked for it at the end of my order, after making the usual "Hey how's your day" small talk. She was hesitant but gave me it (though it could have been fake), but really I don't know her at all aside from her name.
Typical texting etiquette suggests making it known your time is valuable ("I'm doing x at z pm, join me") but is that really possible with so little interaction having occured?
>She was hesitant
Don't bother texting her, she only gave you her number because she was trapped and it's her job to be nice to you
>She was hesitant
Send a single greeting message. Most probably she won't reply but if she does, wait a week or so before sending another message.
You gotta play this one slow and easy.

Don't wait a week! That's way too long. Two days max.

I figured

I already sent her this
"Hey Name, its Anon. I'm going biking tomorrow at Local Park, wanna come?"
I don't care too much about her, I just asked her out so I could improve my dating skills.

its kind of weird since I said it was okay if she said no but i can get why she was scared, I'm a big guy
