Are there any good alternatives for alcohol? Whenever I get drunk I feel great, anxiety is gone, all the problems seem solvable, live almost seems tolerable. However everything returns to shit as soon as I sober up. I can't stay drunk forever since I need to drive from time to time, also after a few days of constant drinking I start to develop tolerance. Weed is not an option since I live in Europe.

Phenibut will definitely alleviate many of your anxiety symptoms - not worth using in large doses, though, or more than once a week.
Some people swear by Kratom (red vein maeng da), but it had adverse effects on my sikin. You might also try Adrafinil, Noopept (weak), or just plain old Vitamin B12.

Phenibut is better than alcohol, but you can only do it once a week. Baclofen supposedly offers equal benefits while being usable daily, but I have no experience with it.
Other things, like ashwagandha, bacopa monnieri, l-theanine, kava, etc. just mitigate it rather than totally make it go away like phenibut.
I just take phenibut on important occasions and use the rest to make other days bearable.

Xanax. I got a prescription for Xanax because I have legitimate anxiety and panic disorder, so it helps me calm down. Now, it doesn't bring all the great effects of alcohol like confidence and cockiness and talkitiveness, however it helps you remain calm. BUT, could be different for everyone so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. Just get a script, and it doesn't even have to be for xanax, it could be Buspirone or Hydroxyzine
