Guys, need some help finding out what in the fuck this thing is in the picture. This thing was put onto my phone at work. Trying to figure out if it's a listening device of some sort.

It's going into the cable that goes directly into the handset where I talk into.

DSL filter? If your boss wants to listen to your phone calls, a) that thing doesn't do it; b) he can do it without anything you can see; and c) that is his right. His phones, his phone bill, etc.
