Sometimes I think that being with my ex is the best that happened in my life. She was cute and I loved the energy she had, but she didn't love me. She is the only person I have had sex with. I feel lonely now and crippled and think everyday about her, even tho it has been 6 months since we stopped seeing each other and we only dated two months. I have no friends and I can't enjoy life sometimes because I have too high standards for my grades in uni. I feel like in a prison, and my anxiety and shyness doesn't help either.

I also have new feelings I never felt. I miss her in a companion way but I also have a lot of lust and it is difficult to deal with it.

I know this is hard. I feel similar (recently dumped, small social circle, not much distraction). Do you miss this girl, or do you miss the feeling she gave you? This is an important distiction. When I separated the feelings of caring for the wellbeing of this girl from the feelings she gave me I realized I mostly missed what she gave me, and I realized that I could get this feeling from somebody else as well (and I did).
Regarding your lack of friends, has this always been this way?

I think I miss her and the carelessness and young energy with the intimacy part . I also care about her wellbeing as you said, I want to help her but it's funny because I know it is not my bussiness and she has never need it either. However I understand that it was also part of my idealization because I misread the whole thing. I will think about what you said tho.
Oh and no, sometimes I manage to have them, sometimes I don't. Right now I just have some colleagues from class and that's it.

I know how you feel. I still care about the well-being of my ex, but I also know that my presence will not help her in that regard. And that is why I choose not to contact her, to help her heal and to help myself to recover.
Regarding the feelings she gave you, the intimacy, the carelessness, you have to realize that you can get this from another girl, and there are more girls on this planet then you will ever be able to meet. Just hang out with girls (even if you don't like them that much). This will help you with your anxiety and will consequently help you talking to girls that you do like! And they will like your stable and confident attitude!
To meet girls, don't go to a bar. Instead go do a group activity, such as a picknick, a cooking/dance class or a singlestrip.
