Nah, women sit at the bar, just at least with a friend or two because women by nature are less confident creatures. As a man you have the challenge of entertaining her friends long enough to get her alone in a conversation. Honestly not long, less than a minute. The hard part is approaching a group of people mid-conversation.
Hit up a club talk to people. Might help overcome the anxiety
