I want to get north african tattoos (I'm actually north african)
Statistically speaking the average model of beauty in western countries do not sport extensive limb-covering tattoos. However I don't think they are strictly unattractive by themselves. Your personal health care achieved through exercise, diet, stress relief and good posture will contribute a greater impact.

Generally, ethnic tattoos are not a good idea unless they reflect your actual ethnicity. Do the tattoos you're looking at reflect your specific heritage?

I wouldn't really have an issue with it, if that's the culture you came from. If you're Americanized but just think they'd look cool, I'd consider it tacky at the very least.
