how do I get the motivation to draw?
I look for inspiration in external things. Books, movies, going out in nature.

Sit yourself down in a no distractions zone with a sketchbook and supplies
No one is going to help you, you just have to do it. Don't think about it, either, until you want to. Just literally put a pencil on paper and start making lines.
