What the hell does it mean?
What am i supposed to put there?
In my country it is common to:
1: street name number/number
2: city name
3: post code
Your country can have it diferent do use brain,
It's like Pittsburgh directions.

I didn't know if they were asking for my adress though, it seemed weird that they were asking for landmarks.

I would say it's just a weird way to ask for address, especially if there's no address field elsewhere.
Why would anyone want landmarks?

It's 2016 we got GPS on our phones, I can't imagine why anyone would ask for an address like this.
