Using intoxication to obtain consent is bordeline rape.
Rather than 'tricking' him into sexual activity, which he may not actually want, you should try to pressure him while sober by dating and being physically intimate where appropriate.
Men can be very slow to realise that you're interested. Be persistent and make your intentions clear.
