What's a good way to find clubs/circles/whatever you call of people with your same hobbies them near your area?
I tried www.meetup.com but here it's either all political crap or yoga.
I would like to know as well.

I went to the stores selling the hobby materials and found groups (set up by stores, posters in their walls).

Go to music clubs alone. Go to bars alone. preferably late hours, not isolated.
