In stupider days, I probably have posted my number up or given it out for online orders. If I changed my number, would this alleviate anything? Or is there no escaping?

get an unlisted number, re-register to the do not call list, and don't give your number out again. that should help.
I just accept the call and leave it on the desk. I've never really got the fuss people make.

As phone scum , politely tell the caller you wish to be on their do not call list. My company calls people that call on advertisements . These people forget they called, scream, don't say they don't want the service so we call them right back.

hate that shit I have a new fresh number and I am already getting calls from telemarketers. The only apps that have my number is steam and whatsapp. I deleted whatsapp just in case and I am going to be more care who I give my number to.
