Yeah you can bounce back, as a friend. Women's attraction to men is like a light switch, on or off. THey aren't attracted to their friends.
Being passionate have to be mutual. Doing it over text is very risky because of lack of reading each other and should not be "spontaneous".
First off, why are you looking to be intimate with an ex? They are typically an ex for a good reason.
Secondly, planning physical intimacy can be a turn off for many. Flirting is about charismatic implications. Insinuate. Make them use their imagination. It's like asking someone to come over to make you laugh. The hope is implied, and is better received and more organic when spontaneous.
