Hello /adv/, first thread here for me.
I just coughed really hard, I have been coughing a lot for the past week, and it feels like something in my throat went up.
No idea what that is, and it's not really painful, but it feels like a part of me is permanently stuck in the wrong way in my throat.
I'm looking for insight about this, if I should do something or if it will fix itself.
Sorry if I'm in the wrong board for this. Pic unrelated.

Doctor.

Ok, is it urgent or not so much? I have an oral exam tomorrow and will need to talk quite a bit too.

Never heard anything like that.
>is it urgent
Depends on if you want to risk suffocation in middle of oral exam or not.
Go see doctor.

If you don't know what it is how can we with just the simple description you gave us? No idea as to the urgency. Can you talk okay? Any other symptoms?
If you feel fine enough to do the exam then do it, but no one but a doctor can tell you if it's just a piece of something stuck or your throat or allergies or cancer....

I can talk fine I think for someone who has been coughing a lot. Other than that I'm fine I think. It does feel a bit like a fresh sensation where I feel the thing but that's it.

Then you should take a cough drop and focus on the exam. If the cough persists or you develop a sore throat, sore neck or fever then you should definitely see a doctor.

I guess that's what I'll do.
If I feel weird I'll just bail out and see someone.
Thanks.
