How do I escape a life of wage slavery?
I work part time as a burger flipper, and not all my days are taken up by work but the days I am off all I wanna do is just play video games and forget.
I legit have no idea what I want out of life career wise, and that alone scares the shit out of me.

I don't make enough to buy a car, and I don't have my GED yet. That is another thing I am horrified about. I have always sucked ass at math.
Today I worked on front counter and barely made it through without having an anxiety attack.
18 years old and I can't fucking subtract decimals on the fly in my head.
Have you considered skilled trade? Amerifag here; welders, machinists and certified workers make great money for minimal investment/training.

I have many times, but I am not sure if it is for me. I have type 1 diabetes and depending on circumstances - my hands will be shaky.
Not only that but I also am weak physically from my body being eaten away during the initial diagnosis.
Finally, this is a more petty reason, but what if I just hate it? What if I can't stand doing it?
Alternatively to welding I have considered trucking as being a better fit, I honestly can't see many problems with it other than being away from home for so long. I think I would like the long stretches of nothing but me, the open road, my music, and a big truck.
But I worry it may not fulfill me and my mother will be disappointed. But meh. I can always buy a gun at that point and end it.
