Does anyone know what the best free audio recording software is? I don't have a good mic (Just using the one on my Astro A40 headset), but I need to make a video that uses my own voice, and I'm running out of time.
All I really need is something that will allow me to doctor up my voice to sound a bit clearer and maybe be able to make my voice sound better like they do on the radio.
Currently trying to work with Audacity, and it's OKAY, but I'm looking for something maybe a little more user-friendly.
Audacity is a good program for basic recording, and it's very user-friendly, i don't know what you want really. There's Adobe Audition but it's way more convoluted.
It's all about the microphone and the environment you record in. If your microphone is shit then the audio will be shit no matter what program you use.

Ah, so there isn't really much else out there?
I don't know, Audacity feels a bit "bare bones" to me. I'm not really expecting Adobe level software, but I had figured that there were more programs out there I could use. Thanks.
