You miss each other and want to get back together.
After a month apart, you call each other up, decide the breakup was a mistake and that you should get back together.
Your partner admits they hooked up with someone during your time apart. They honestly had no feelings for the person and no further interest in staying in contact with them.
Would this upset you? Would it affect your decision to get back together?

If they didn't expect to, then that's the same thing. Despite what they hoped, they had to live as if they weren't going to have contact with you ever again, which involves trying to get over you. Fucking someone new isn't a good way to do it, I've tried, but I did it because I thought I could dull the pain by getting someone else's affection
