Do you ever get over these? Is it just something you cope with for the rest of your life?
I have been through CBT and I feel I have made great strides but I still always think of suicide. It's become such an ingrained habit. My life is a lot better than what it was but I still have almost no desire to keep living. I wouldn't really call myself depressed, Life just doesn't really interest me, it's too much work and i'm lazy af.
Anything related to suicidal thoughts is welcome.
First of all, yes, I have suicidal thoughts.
Do you like your friends? Do you have a friend that is of the opposite sex that you are close to? Those are two things I've heard that help.
I'm a stoner about to graduate college, and I contemplate suicide as an alternative of 9-5 the rest of my life.
Find your passion. Even if its just a hobby or outlet it will help.

Did the CBT involve drugs? The anti-depressants I got prescribed cleared my suicidal thoughts up for a while.
The trick is just not to stop taking the drugs when/if you start to feel better.
