I accidentally cut too deep on my ankle, I can't judge the depth but it kinda spread open (looking like a blood-pooled vagina). It was only like 1 cm long but never had one that deep before. Didn't take pictures.
I pressed the wound with a tissue for a while and taped it shut with a bandaid and it stopped bleeding.
My toes tingle a bit but I feel fine otherwise.
How do I know if/when to go to a doctor?

Toes tingling is likely from bloodloss.
I'd recommend going to a doctor just for the iodine and possibly stitches.

I'm holding that foot up now (should have mentioned) out of fear that it'll tear open or start bleeding again.
I've donated blood before and I know what blood loss feels like, I barely lost a spoonful from this altogether.
