I interrupt people.
Anyone from friends to potential employers interviewing me.
A good example is any time someone mentions a subject that I know something of, I'll just fucking open my mouth and put in my 2 cents.
Theoretically, I know what to do. In practice, it all flies out of the window.
What are some practical steps that I can take in order to not interrupt the person who's about to potentially give me a job, my wife, a friend...anyone.
Depends on the cause. If you're not socializing enough, so that the second someone pays you the slightest bit of attention you get all excited and can't shut up, socialize more. If you interrupt people because they're going too slow for you, get tested for ADHD. If you just have terrible self-control in general, practice.
