I'm not sure if Subway has free meals or discounted meals but that would be up to you to find out. My experience with McDonalds, we had some pretty funny times in grill area because it wasn't 100% visible to coworkers like Subway though. If you want to smoke at work I wouldn't do it while you're working a cash register in general.
