I'm not a great looking guy. 5/10 I guess, more like a 4 to be honest.
I've had girls invite me to do things (not often), and I feel like I could get a girlfriend with someone who has about the same looks, but it's hard to be confident when you're not great looking. What should I do? (I can't post a picture people know me and browse this so please don't ask)
I know what a lot of people are going to say but confidence can't be faked as much as people think. Things like exercise, clothing, haircut can impact how you feel about yourself and can even bump you up a few notches.

Looks mean a lot less to girls than they do to guys. Be personable, be confident, be empathetic, be fun, and they'll overlook your looks.

Just get into good hygiene. Find clothing that you are comfortable wearing. Good looks is in the eye of the girl, one will like your style another will not.
