I want to take some zinc supplements. Issue is I can't swallow pills.
Is it possible to open the pill (looks like pic related) and to just take whats inside or would that not work?

You can do it, but the taste would be terrible. Some pills can be mixed into juice or other flavored drinks, but not all of them can.
Have you tried putting the pill in your mouth and then drinking a big glass of water? That works for many people.
