Hello, I'm Canadian. I am an engineer, and I recently got a job at a plant. The thing is that I am a white person. Actually, I am the only white person among 20 other new hires who seem to be from different cultures (Which I think is due to affirmative action, but anyway)
I am generally a nice person and I can get long with most people, but I am being picked on for being white, and I honestly don't know how to fight back, because they're all calling me racist if I do. In fact they say claims like I'm racist for reading political news about north korea or something (They keep claiming that I think china, north korea and japan are the same place)
IDK how to deal with this, Im not good at comebacks, and I feel like it's not gonna look good on my career if everyone keeps calling me racist.
any ideas?
