This is the first person I have talked to in years, we just started talking and I am so anxious to text him right now although he hasn't replayed to my last few messages. I know I am not interesting but I am so scared he will stop talking to me this is the only human contact I have had and I don't want to lose it

Needyness is one of the things that, for both sexs, takes away the desire. You should go do something for yourself in order to disconect from that 'mind set'. Go hang with your friends, sports, games... whatever. As soon as you put your mind into something else, your need to send messages, or rather, to receive answers, will fade.
