Is it possible I am narcoleptic ? During the day.. I get these quick assaults of sleep on me. Like I could be sitting in my chair at work and suddenly I start.. blanking out? Like I feel myself getting very tired, I try to fight it and start twitching and my eyes are fluttering and shit.
I am worried because I get like 8 hours of sleep and this still happens. Is it possible its a result of boredom? I also don't drink coffee.
So I am not sure what is happening. Its been happening for awhile but I always thought it was just my sleep cycle issues but then I fixed my cycle and it still happens.
Is it possible I am narcoleptic? It only happens when I am at work though. I honestly wish sleeping at work wasn't frowned upon. Makes me kind of angry some chuckle fucks can get up and get coffee but I can't blast out a quick turbo nap at my desk.

The only way to tell is through a sleep test. Likely the results will say no, and that you just have excessive daytime sleepiness which isn't a diagnosis it's just a symptom of something else like depression adhd, poor diet etc.
source: been through the exact same thing my friend. AND my uncle is actually narcoleptic and describes what it is like vividly. You would most likely know.
