How important is sexual attraction in a relationship??
Have you ever dated someone you didn't necessarily find attractive? did you learn to find them attractive?
I think I might find this guy attractive...but I'm not sure. His personality is cool.

pretty important. i have a diverse range of types so if i find them attractive at all it works for the time being. i dont go in wondering if we will be eternal cuz whats the point, you're probably not.
but if you feel almost nothing for them in your loins, then its probably not a good match. relationships without sex are just friendships.

It's subjective imo and really depends on what reason both people are in the relationship.
To me, it's very important in a partner.

It's one of the most important factors of any relationship. Physical or sexual attraction is often the first thing that brings people together. Not always, but it's what keeps a relationship going. Otherwise it's really just a friendship disguised as something more.
My two cents anyway. I regard sex as almost the defining part of an exclusive relationship. If the sexual relations ain't good or you're not sexually compatible then it won't last.

If you want a relationship and like his personality, get to know him better. The girl I'm seeing I thought was sorta cute, but after a few dates and hours of conversation suddenly seeing her smile really brightens my whole day. I don't have an irresistible lust for her, but i really don't care.

Imo it's important. When I was 16 I was so awkward and horny that I wanted any guy to pay attention to me. I dated an older guy that had a huge nose and we didn't have much in common. I overlooked all of that because I liked the way he treated me. I ended up wasting almost 5 yrs with him because he changed how he treated me and I realized I wasn't attracted to him nor his personality.
If you're looking for a friend then looks don't matter, but you're looking for a bf/gf so it's different. I think you should be attracted to their looks as well as their personality.

For me facial attractiveness is important but not so much body.
I was once into a really pretty 50+ yo woman who was fat far beyond the normal obese, she just has a pretty face and is a great person
