How do I make friends that don't shoot down ideas of being more that a Wal Mart wage slave?
OP here. I would also like to know, how do I make threads that don't contain so little information that they're totally fucking impossible to reply to?
Don't try. Embrace the slings and arrows: their input is valuable. Nothing's better for finding weaknesses in your ideas than a cadre of naysayers. Once you know those weaknesses, you can set about addressing them, refining your ideas to a stronger point.
Naysayers are also good for telling "I told you so" after the fact.
You start by leaving the first ones in the dust.
My old friends from HS will talk down any idea I ever have.
They talked down me moving out on my own, cause its so expensive rahrahrah
They talked it down when I said my wife & I were going to have a baby
A lot of people don't want other people to succeed, it ruins their day.
They hear about your dreams & your success & all they think about is that they don't have what you got.
It makes them want to shit all over your good time.
Find other friends with drive, share in their successes & smoke cigars or whatever while laughing at the people who said you couldn't do it
