Let's say I've rung a potential employer three times now and each time the receptionists continue to tell me that the Employer is not in and they sound more and more irritated with me each time... Should I stop calling? Will the receptionists opinion matter to the employer?

How far apart were the calls? Are you calling to ask about job openings, or waiting to hear back about an interview?
