/adv/ I need some morale support because I just got my first cold sore. It's been stressing me out and I can't stop focusing on it. This is all new to me and I'm aware it's a common occurrence so there's no use being devastated by it but I can't shake the fact that I have this thing on my face and have no clue when it's going to go away nor i have any idea how frequently it's going to occur. Can anybody offer any experience dealing with this?

first, hands are off limits, don't touch it at all
second, it may happen for a number of reasons, poor health, stress levels, bad food you get it.
third, you can grab over the counter shit to help it.
it should be fine within 5-9 days.
