I've been looking for work for a while an it's starting to really get to me
the worst part is hat you are expected to put so much hope and enthusiasm into your applications, only for someone to throw them out and not even bother to email you back to tell you you didn't get the job
my last boss was underpaying me, I stood up to him and as a result I had to quit, now he's making it hard for me to find work elsewhere and it's a small town
they ask me "why did you quit your last job" and I struggle to think of a reason that isn't
A. the boss worked us like mules
B. he underplayed me and it was against the law
C. he was a bastard
nobody has time for me to sell my successes or focus on the positives; they want a straight answer and I can't seem to provide
