How does one go about asking for an internship?
I'll TLDR it
>guy walks into my work
>notice he's from IT place that I want to intern at
>befriend him
>mention i know "friend" who used to work there
>tells me he isn't looking for someone, but someone else might be
>tells me to just come on by one day and talk to the guy who might be looking for an intern
So I get in contact with my friend that used to work there and he said "Just show up."
Isn't that rude? Just showing up and going "HI ANON AND OTHER ANON SAID YOURE LOOKING FOR AN INTERN HERE I AM"
I have two people telling me I should do it that both work(ed) there.
What do I do? Do I bring a resume with me? The guy is pretty laid back, they said he'd teach anyone.
Help me not fuck this up.

Can't answer this OP but I've recently emailed a company asking about internships. Just know your threat at least isn't being unwatched.
Maybe email him beforehand? That way he knows to be expecting you and you can maybe set up a time to talk with him.
