Should I stop with sarcasm? I have been sarcastic my whole life but people aren't getting that I'm being sarcastic now. Usually they think I'm being serious which is awkward for me and the person.

They probably get it, they just think it isn't funny. Stop being sarcastic, it's juvenile. Be sincere instead. Stop hiding behind sarcasm. Only those who are empty inside and care about nothing need to be constantly sarcastic.

If people dont understand then its not sarcasm, its just lying/ mocking, and its not like you're so smart that no one understands, its more likely that you say something seriously and think people must be able to distinguish when there is no difference in tone and facial expression
