I did. It was magical but in the end it fucked me up. It was a very emotional relationship but always hid and no one could know. She was the most beautiful person I've met back then and there were many feels but the pressure of her family where too much. She is older now, more independent and knows that her family is full of shitheads.
So yeah. Depends on where you live and how modern her family is and even if they are modern, many many tell their girls that they have to get a Muslim boyfriend. You can try it but as always don't expect too much, so you don't mess yourself up.
