My current drinking status is roughly 6 beers in one night (1.3/4 standers each so around 8 standard drinks) maybe twice a week, I rarely go out and get hammered maybe 5 times a year.
Lately i have been feeling dumber then usual, can this be connected with my booze consumption? I didn't think what I drank was that much.
Some extra info i weigh 60kg (about 130 pounds) I'm 20 at the moment and I only started drinking at the age of 17.
stop drinking for a bit and see if the fog clears.

Disrupts sleep heavily, flushes out key minerals in your body including magnesium that serves over 300 biological functions in the body, dehydrates you heavily making you sluggish, taxes the hell out of your liver, disrupts your hormones, causes vitamin deficiency.
You tell me pal. There is no such thing as moderation with alcohol, it is a poison.

The only benefit to it is maybe the fiber in beer other than that

6 is a lot for one night my man, I would definitely try to ween yourself off. Start slow, maybe instead of 6 try 4-3 a night and be sure to space them out.
Why do you feel you drink so much? is it more so just part of your schedule (getting off work/school?)
My family has a history of alcoholism so I understand its hard to notice.
As for your mental health/intelligence, I can only imagine that would be having some negative effects.
