I didn't mind helping him when I was 'The new guy' there, but months later I find he constantly tries to put the jobs he is given on to me when I have my own work to do.
What is the best way to deal with this.?
He tried it yesterday and I said something like "Mike, I would help you but I have my own jobs to do right now."
I am not the only person there to have noticed this.
It is really pissing me off, but is it worth complaining to the management over?
Nah, just put your foot down respectfully and firmly that you have enough on your plate
Be direct about it
"I can't help you now, I have enough work"
Don't be smiley and giggle, it's not funny. You boss of you, you are the captain of your own ship huehue.
If he keeps going, and you don't do his share won't that get HIM in trouble?

Not at all, just blow him off the next time he asks for something seeing as he has no issue doing it to you.

Say no politely but do it give him any wiggle room. Saying "I can't help you now" means you can do it later. It seems stupid to add this but your coworker seems obtuse and rude already
