Hey /adv/, quick question. I've booked an appointment with my doctor soon and I'm going to finally bring up my phimosis (mine's not that bad but I still want it fixed before I have sex). Just a few questions.
Anyone else suffered or dealt with phimosis?
What treatment did you get?
Will I be able to get the steroid cream people talk about?
What sort of things will the doctor ask?
Sorry if I come across as naive, just a bit embarrassed about this, haven't even told my parents. I really want to avoid a circumcision btw and I'm scared they'll try to force it on me without giving me other options.

I fixed my phimosis myself with daily stretching. He will give you a cream that speeds up the process. If he wants to do something else, get a 2nd opinion.

Same. You don't need special medication, just stretch your skin while you take warm/hot showers.
