I'm a freshman theatre major in college and I kinda wanna ask out a junior theatre major here but she is definitely planning on moving to New York in like a year and a half and I am staying here for at least three years and after college I plan to either stay here in Texas or move to California. Fuck New York it's too cold.
What do? Should I just accept the fact that we'll just be friends and stay a permavirgin forever or try and see if she's willing to have something short term?

If you're thinking like that, you clearly don't care about her romantically. You should let it go.
Also, a word of advice, many people here are hyped up on the STEM-train so much you might be metaphorically lynched for being a theatre major. You should include that info only when it's relevant to the situation.
