Is there a word or condition that describes:

"Forgetting" how to do something if done repeatedly. Saw i'm writing the letter S over and over in cursive really fast. It's very easy but eventually my brain dumbs out and I "forget" how to write the s.

The forgetting is for about 2-3 seconds, and then I can continue. You think I have some ischemic brain damage? I used to hold my breathe and pass out a lot

The psychological effect is called "satiation." When you use a certain neural pathway in your brain to, say, write a letter or say a word, that sequence of neurons fires in a physical biochemical reaction. Ions flow, action potentials travel, neurotransmitters flood and drain from synapses. If you keep firing those same nerves over and over again, the cells actually begin to exhibit inhibitory behavior. It's analogous to them getting tired from this sequence of physical processes.

Ah, thanks a lot, makes sense.
How do I make it happen less often?
