At my flatmates over christmas, known her for 3 months, ended up getting with one of her mates over new years eve.
Now I don't know how to go about doing anything about it, or even if I should act on it at all.
Help a brother out with lines or how I should go about the situation.
You should not. Let it simmer for several days and then casually mention this person to your flatmate. Don't phrase it as a question because that's anything but subtle. Keep it along the lines of remembering a particular part of the evening which included that person. If they've been talking about you as well, your flatmate will then bring that to your attention. That's when you get the green light to reconnect and meet for a proper date.
