I was alone yesterday on NYE writing with some friends, wishing them happy new year. A girl I kind of like asked if I want to join her around 1am or so. I made up an excuse and stayed home. Now I feel like she might be disappointed and I fucking hate myself for not going.

Fuck why am I such a pussy. The last time I did something with a girl was 5 years ago at 16.

You should apologize and ask if she might be able to celebrate the new year with you some time soon? You don't have to celebrate it on the very first day :) just celebrate the new year in general. Take her out to get some chai latte or coffee or whatever makes her heart figuratively melt.
