Is there any way to improve long term attention span? I'm

Is there any way to improve long term attention span?
I'm depressed loner with bunch of free time on my hand so I wanted to pour it into something productive or interesting in order to take my mind from suicidal thoughts. However I just can't stick with anything, lately I tend to drop games mid playthrough or anime in mid series. I want to learn something cool like new language, programming or how to draw but it seems impossible in situation where I pause movie after 20 minutes and never come back to it.

Any /adv/ice beside "just do it"?
