weird dreams

For a while I am seeing people in my life sticking guns (shotguns/pistols) into their mouth and pulling the trigger. Last night I vividly remember some girl I knew and then she turns around and the back half of her head is missing. So it's as if the face is only intact like a mask. I'm trying to remember what I felt in the dream and I can at best describe it as deep grief and fury masked by confusion.
Why?
This was after a few weeks of straight sex dreams, too.
I'm 22 year old male if that's a clue.
