do depression meds really fucking work? I've been in sertraline for a month now and I don't feel better. I only feel apathetic. My life is still a piece of shit, and I have no will or ability to do anything about it. I stopped taking the meds today. Fuck this.

Ask for a change in meds. As for "do they work" it depends. for me they didn't, only made me crazy emotional.
