ladies would you date a self centered guy?

Ok so my question is would you date someone who's self centered? Assuming he's actually kind, goes out of his way for people, is confident and has a career. But has a tendency to always relate everything said to himself and most of interactions involve him talking about him or his opinions about your own inputs.
Basically I just realized I'm a really self centered guy. In the past few days I've been working to fix it, and now that I realized I'm doing it (steering communication back to me) I realize how ridiculously often I do it. I'm trying to only talk about myself if someone asks. I'm slipping up a lot but getting better. So, I want to see how harming it really was to my social and love life for motivation to stop. I understand the irony of this post.
