I like Windows 10 so much better than 8. I stuck with 7 till 10 came out.

10 is an abomination.
It does so much crap without your permission, and you can't stop it. You'll be working on something important and it will force install updates. It will pull bad drivers and break devices. It slows down your internet downloading shit and uploading telemetry. Literally records every keystroke and listens to you all the time of you have a mic.

7 is pretty good.
8.1 alright once you get used to the new metro interface.
10 just awful.

I'm going to go straight to Linux for me and transition my family to use OSX because dealing with 10 is a nightmare.

I stayed with 8.1. I don't think it matters much either way though unless you get into technical bs. One example is that you can't properly emulate IE9/10 on Windows 10 without running a VM.
